1. Prerequisites
- Before deploying a SharePoint app solution, ensure the following:
- SharePoint Environment: SharePoint Online with AppCatalog support.
- App Catalog Site: Must be created and accessible.
- Admin Access: To deploy the solution at the tenant level, the user must have Global – Administrator or SharePoint Administrator permission.
2. CV TMS SPFX Webpart Installation Steps

Access CV TMS on Microsoft AppSource
- Before starting the deployment, you can directly access the solution from Microsoft
AppSource

- Marketplace: https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/product/WA200010504?tab=Overview
- From here, click “Get it now” to initiate the app acquisition process.
- Follow the steps below to deploy and configure the CV TMS SharePoint solution in tenant or site
collection app catalog. -
Step 1: Deploy Solution
- https://yourtenantname.sharepoint.com/sites/appcatalog/_layouts/15/tenantAppCatalog.aspx/manageApps
- or
- https://yourtenantname.sharepoint.com/sites/yoursitecollectionname%C3%82%C2%A0/AppCatalog/Forms/AllItems.aspx
- Go to tenant or site collection app catalog.
- Navigate to settings from the top-right corner.
- Click on Add an app
- Search the keyword “CV TMS” in the search bar and find it under the
SharePoint Source section. - Select CV TMS Product and click on Add to Apps site
- Pop-ups will appear. Select the checkbox (Only enable this app or enable this
app and add it to all sites) and click on the Add button. - A prompt will open for additional permissions approval from the global
admin side.

Step 2: Grant API Access using global admin rights
- Go to SharePoint Admin Center. (https://yourtenant-admin.sharepoint.com/)
Navigate to Advanced -> API access from left side menu - Search “User.Read” API Permission.
- If found in Pending requests, then select & approve.

Step 3: Add application to SharePoint site
- Note: Skip Step 3 if you checked (“Make this solution available to all sites”) checkbox from
step 1.- Go to the arget Site Collection.
- Navigate to Site Contents. In the top-left ribbon, click the New button, then
select App. - Selectthe app from the ‘Apps You Can Add’ section.
- Click ‘Add’to installthe app

Step 4: Configure CV TMS Web part
- Steps to Create Site Page & deploy webpart
- Go to site content >new >page
- Add full-width section or desired section
- Search & add ‘CV TMS’ webpart (Wait for the setup to be complete)
- Add configuration set up from settings tab
- Check & test all features
- Publish the page
2. CV TMS Purchase Subscription
- To use CV TMS SPFX webpart without any interruptions, please purchase aCV TMS
subscription from Microsoft AppSource. -
Step 1: Access CV TMS on AppSource
- Go to Microsoft AppSource Marketplace
- SearchCV TMS under SaaS Products or open the link below for direct access.
- https://marketplace.microsoft.com/enus/product/codevisiontechnologiesprivatelimited1613132641660.cvtms>
- Click on “Get it now”

Step 2: Select Billing Country
- You will be redirected to the purchase page
- Select your Billing Country/Region from the dropdown
- Note: This cannot be changed later
- Accept the terms and click Next

Step 3: Choose Subscription Plan
- Select your preferred plan:
- Monthly
- Yearly
- Click Next

Step 4: Review Pricing & Billing
- Verify pricing details and billing summar
- Click Next

Step 5: Add Payment Details
- Enter payment information
- Click Save

Step 6: Complete Purchase
- Click Place Order
- After successful payment, you will be redirect to our landing page to activate
your subscription. Once subscription activated you will be seeing a confirmation
message - You can now access full CV TMS features without any interruptions.
4. CV TMS Automate – Installation & Configuration Steps
- CV TMS Automate enables notification features such as missing timesheetreminders to employee & daily team report to manager using Microsoft Power Automate.

Step 1: Install Power Automate Solution
- Go to Power Automate https://make.powerautomate.com
- Sign in with your Microsoft account
- Select the correct Environment (same as SharePoint)

- Navigate to Solutions from the left menu
- Click on Open App Source
- Search For CV TMS Automate or directly access with this URL :https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/product/dynamics-365/codevisiontechnologiesprivatelimited1613132641660.cvtmsautomate?tab=Overview

- Click On Get it Now Button

- Select an environment, check the box, and then click Install

Step 2: Set up Solution and Environment variable
- Open Power Automate or click on this link: https://make.powerautomate.com
- Select the same environment where you installed CV TMS Automate
- In Left menu Select Solution
- Find CV TMS Pro

- Click on Update Environment variable

- Configure required connections:
- SharePoint
- Outlook (Office 365)
- Sign in and authorize all connections

- Set up the environment variables by selecting the appropriate values from the
dropdown, then click Save and Close.

Step 3: Enable Flows
- Go to Cloud Flows inside the solution
- Open each flow
- Click Turn On
- Ensure all flows are enabled successfully
- Flow will be triggered on daily basis as per scheduled time
- Test the Notification feature
- Your system is now fully configured to receive all alerts and notifications
5. Upgrade the CV TMS SharePoint App
- Open the tenant or site-collection App Catalog using one of the following URLs:
- https://[yourtenant].sharepoint.com/sites/appcatalog/_layouts/15/tenantAppCatalog.aspx/manageApps
- Or
- https://[yourtenant].sharepoint.com/sites/[yoursitecollection]/AppCatalog/Forms/AllItems.aspx
- Go to classic experience (skip this if already open classic experience)
- Search “CV TMS” & Select from grid
- Click on files from top header menu.

- Click Upgrade Store App options from App (If any upgrade version available it will enable)
- Wait for upgrading process.
- Once done deploy option will be visible. Review any pending additional API permission approval. (Refer step 2 from CV TMS SPFX Webpart Installation Steps – Step 1: Deploy Solution )
- Click on deploy. It will redirect back to app catalog once process done
- Go to site page where webpart installed & check upgraded feature.
